彼が書いたアレクサンダー大王の生涯は歴代的に現在まで読み継がれて来た珍しい作品です。
１４６３年ラテン語からフランス語に訳された有名な写本はフランス国立文書館で保存され、
優雅なバスタルダ体で書かれています。
ミュリエル・ガチーニの研究ノートから直接学んで、写本のページをカラーで見て、勉強する事が出来ます。

この3ヶ月の講座でバスタルダ体のユーニックなりガチューアや文字扱いと
エレガントなカデル体を勉強して、新しいテクニックと共に文字の飾り方を覚えて、
自分の作品を一歩すすめ、より優雅で格調高いものを作りましょう。

Quintus Curtius Rufus was a famous historian who is believed to have lived around the first century.
The book he wrote on the life of Alexander the Great has been popular to this day.
In the year 1463 his work was translated from Latin into French and
the original manuscript is now kept at the National Library of France
where Muriel Gaggini was able to analyze its elegant form of Gothic Bastarda in 1996.
Students will have the privilege to study directly from MG's notes
and receive many double pages of this manuscript as class material in full color.

In this 3-month course, the Bastarda hand of this book together with its fantastic cadel initials will be studied.　
Through the learning of new calligraphic ligatures and decoration techniques
students will discover the joy of applying them to their future artworks.

Applications: classical and modern texts, design of cards, title work
for all types of visual presentations, etc.
